2XU Compression Run 2015 was a blessing because finally after months of bad haze and cancellation runs, manage to run competitive in 21km at Putrajaya. The weather was great and it seems like runners enjoy the run although we did get our medal during the racekit collection. Organizers decided to do so because of uncertain weather lately which I can't blame them and to avoid participant to make 2 trips if there were cancellation.
I started a bit late than usual (not in the front group) because I meet up with Brian from Athlete Circle program, we did an easy slow start and chit chat for few kilometers. Then I pick up my pace after the 3rd kilometer when I saw coach Edan Syah pass so many runner from the left side of the road. The route was what like I expected to be because I used to my LSD once awhile in putrajaya. It was a mental and physical challenge for someone like me who did not properly train due to the haze-period. Thanks organizers and hope to see you next year!
