Newton Challenge 2015 - The day of the event, it was raining heavily in the morning. I thought that the event will be canceled. Lucky us, it stopped just in time and feels good to run on a wet road.
Waited for some Athlete's Circle running buddies at the starting line. Finally before the race starts we flagged off together. I ran the whole race with Faisal Zabidy, we pace each other through out the 15km route at Taman Kinarara. It seem the route which I quite familiar because I used to live around that area some time ago. Managed to maintain my running form which is very efficient during the 15km and I finish strong with personal best. It is also the first time that I use my Salomon slab sense 2 shoes in a road race.
Event organizers did a good job with traffic although the a still lots of trucks and open road which is dangerous to runners. Water station provide sufficient water yet the hills are challenging but manageable.
